Export 3D Models from AutoCAD to Google Earth

Taking the Sketchup threat very seriously, Autodesk today unveiled free AutoCAD 2007 plug-ins for Google Earth.

With these plugins, AutoCAD users will be able to publish 3D DWG drawings to Google Earth KML files directly inside the AutoCAD interface using Wizards.

The Google Earth Extension work with AutoCAD 2007, Architectural Desktop 2007, Autodesk® Civil 3D 2007, and Autodesk Map 3D 2007. Earlier, Autodesk released similar plug-ins for Autodesk Civil 3D 2007.
